
The icon line called Benegas Lynch, is made with our best grapes from selected parcels with an average yield of 3 to 4 Tons/ha. The wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. These wines aim to reflect the best expression of a terroir. They are unique wines of a limited production and made only in the best vintages.
Varietal composition:
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot
Grapes Origin:
Finca Libertad, Upper Bank of Mendoza River, Cruz de Piedra, Maipu, Mendoza. Old vines from 40 to 120 years old.
Harvest time:
Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc in the second half of April, Merlot end of March and Petit Verdot second half of March.
Winemaking process:
Cold maceration. Fermentation at 25º C. Fermentative maceration during 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels of each varietal by separate. In the case of the Cabernet Franc it is aged in 500 lt French oak barrels. After 12 months ageing in wood the blend is made and the wine goes back to oak barrels for another 6 months. Bottling.
Ageing:
18 months in new French oak barrels and 5 years of bottle ageing.

Clean and brilliant. Intense dark red colour with brick red hues.
-Nose:
The complexity of the varietal composition exhibits in the nose aromas of red and black fruit, spices like white pepper, clove and cardamom. Herbal notes of eucalyptus ,thyme and rosemary. The wood ageing renders cocoa and vanilla notes.
-Mouth:
Strong presence in the entrance. It reaches the maximum volume with a high impact in the mid palate, showing round tannins resulting from the blend of the four varietals. Long and lingering finish with delicate herbaceous notes.

15 - 20 years

Maridage:
To be paired with long cooked meals. Due to its heavy tannins is ideal to be paired with red meat and game.

Profound vermillion red colour with ruby hues.
-Nose:
Aromas of black ripe fruit and roasted pepper together with the typical freshness of the variety mingle softly with the fermentation notes rendering elegance and hints of cocoa and vanilla.
-Mouth:
Powerful wine with juicy and ripe tannins. In the mid palate it exhibits a set of layers where the aromas appear and complement the wine, giving it an elegant and very expressive long finish.

Maridage:
This wine matches very well with slowly cooked game as well as barbecues and complex sauces. Also ideal to combine with hard sheep and cow milk cheeses.

Finca La Encerrada, Gualtallary, Tupungato, Uco Valley Mendoza. At 1450 mts above the sea level.

Cold maceration. Fermentation at 25º C. Fermentative maceration during 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels and after this, ageing in the same for 18 months. One year of bottle ageing

18 months in new French oak barrels and one year bottle ageing.

Brilliant intense red colour with the typical violet hues of the malbec..
-Nose:
At the beginning ripe fruit notes appear such as strawberries and plums. After this, the flower notes emerge, especially violets which are typical of the coldest regions of Uco Valley. Some lactic notes appear as a result of its fermentation and ageing in barrels.
-Mouth:
Powerful wine of round and marked tannins of great character, excellent balance and long persistence in the palate. The ageing in wood grants the necessary silkness to put together all the range of descriptors that the wine has developed during fermentation, including the tobacco and the raw leather.

Maridage:
Ideal to match with lamb and red meat barbecues. It also pairs very well with soft cream cheeses such as brie and camembert.
